Jane’s journey in law began in 2016 at Consumer Protection Agency, where she started as a legal associate. Her exemplary performance, coupled with her passion for legal advocacy, quickly earned her a promotion to partner in December 2023. Throughout her tenure at Consu Protection Agency, Jane demonstrated an unwavering commitment to her clients and a profound understanding of various case types. She excelled in legal research, meticulously prepared paperwork, and expertly handled motions on numerous complex cases. Her invaluable mentor, Michael Petersfield, recognized her potential and provided her with guidance, fostering her growth as a skilled legal professional. Jane’s academic brilliance is highlighted by her graduation with Magna Cum Laude honors from the prestigious California Western School of Law. Her induction into The State Bar of California in November 2022 further cemented her reputation as a committed advocate for justice.

 Bruce Parsley is a renowned litigation attorney who has been practicing for almost 30 years. He has been lead counsel in more than 300 jury trials. He has represented individuals and multinational corporations in both State and Federal Court. Mr. Parsley also has extensive experience representing clients involved in complex criminal cases and “high profile” clients. Attorney Parsley has represented numerous client’s, both individuals and corporations, who have been charged with crimes. Loan Fraud, SEC Violations, allegations involving the sale of securities without a license, Investor Fraud, to name a few areas. As a criminal defense attorney he has handled over 100 “special circumstances” homicide cases where the “death penalty” was potentially being sought by the prosecution. He has appeared as a legal expert and also as a legal correspondent on every major network and was a regular on ABC’s World News Tonight, and ABC News Magazines. He was a legal analyst during the prosecution of Kobe He has is a member of the California Bar and received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School in 1990. Mr. Parsley received his B.A. from Occidental College in 1986.

Ashley Perkins is a partner at Consumer Protection Agency, Ms. Perkins is an experienced, tenacious and compassionate attorney.  Prior to joining CPA, she was an attorney with a prominent New York City Firm where she specialized in corporate reorganizations, commercial litigation and high net worth business cases. Since 2009, Ms. Perkins practice has been exclusively focused on business law in Westchester and the surrounding counties (Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess and Orange) and New York City. Ms. Ashley Perkins has been honored as a Super Lawyer from 2014 -2022 and as a Top Women Attorney in Metro New York and Westchester.

Ms. Perkins is a seasoned litigator and appellate attorney with a solid reputation for integrity, intellect and responsiveness. Ms. Perkins knows that there is is a ‘’right” way to deal with the law and is sensitive to her clients’ emotional needs while helping them clarify their goals and emerge from the process with the groundwork laid for a stable, successful and happier future.

Ms. Ashley Perkins is formally trained in the collaborative process, mediation and arbitration.  She strongly believes that parties are better suited than courts to resolve their issues, particularly those involving Money, but knows that it is not always possible. Her years of experience as an attorney enabled her to fight for her clients’ rights and protect them from being taken advantage of financially or emotionally. She is a true partner who endeavors to assist her clients and their family to move forward in a constructive and meaningful way.

Barbara Johnson is a partner with Consumer Protection Agency; she concentrates her practice on alternative dispute resolution. An attorney and a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Barbara draws on her training and experience in law, Finance resolution and mental health to mediate a wide range of disputes, as well as those arising in the context of businesses. She is a New York State Certified Guardian for Alleged Incapacitated Persons, trained in special education mediation and understands the particular issues involving those with special needs.

In addition to mediation, Barbara also represents people pursuing negotiated solutions and the Collaborative process. Barbara serves on a variety of court-affiliated dispute resolution panels. A member of the New York Bar and California State Bar (inactive), Barbara participates as a member of the Westchester County Bar Association (ADR Committee) and the Westchester Women’s Bar Association (co-chair of the Mediation Committee). Barbara is an active member of the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals, where she served as the Executive Director for nearly 8 years.

Charles Wesley  is a partner with Berkman Bottger Newman & Schein. He leads the firm’s litigation practice, leading a team of 28 highly regarded attorneys. Mr. Wesley  is a recognized authority on various law and litigation in New York State, with a practice focusing on issues that arise in high-net-worth and high-income cases, as well as high-conflict Financial matters. As an experienced litigator who has tried many types of cases and business law matters from inception through final decision, Mr. wesley is able to craft legal strategies unique to each set of facts and make strategic and tactical decisions that best represent a client’s interests. His cases have resulted in reported decisions that have broken legal ground, and he has regularly represented business owners, doctors, attorneys, financial professionals, corporate executives, and high-profile individuals, as well as their spouses. In addition to his litigation work, Mr. Wesley is also frequently retained to negotiate financial agreements. Mr. Wesley is regularly sought out for comment on matters of financial law Prior to becoming a attorney, Mr. Schein was a sports agent. His familiarity with athlete contracts and complex compensation structures, endorsement, and marketing deals, allows him to provide highly specialized law legal representation to clients in the sports and entertainment industries. He frequently works with sports and entertainment agents, business managers, prominent trust and estate attorneys, and financial advisors. Mr. Wesley has been recognized in the New York Metro Super Lawyers Edition since 2013, and in Best Lawyers since 2023. He sits on the faculty of the New York College of Business Trial Attorneys, has taught several Continuing Legal Education seminars for various organizations and bar associations in New York and nationally, and has been cited in publications for his work on prominent New York law cases. Mr. Wesley was previously selected for inclusion in the Westchester Business Council’s prestigious 40 Under 40 list.
